Overarching Quality Dashboard – Bar Chart

The Quality Dashboard is a visual summary of the current state of the TMF Completeness, TMF Document Quality, and TMF Document Timeliness metrics. As a single-glance overview, the Quality Dashboard highlights high-level eTMF progress and helps draw attention to issues.
The Quality Dashboard also includes the Historical Tab, which shows historical trends in high-level metrics.

Using the Quality Dashboard

  • Hover over any of the target indicators to see their specific values.
  • Click on the bar graphs to drill into details.
  • Change the filter to focus your Quality Dashboard on specific Study areas.

Understanding Metrics Targets

The bars on the Quality Dashboard are Green, Yellow or Red based on the targets set by the Study Owner.
You can see the target values by hovering over the square target markers on the bar chart.

Customizing the Quality Dashboard

To start, the Quality Dashboard shows results with filters from your preferences.
Additional filters let you see the Quality Dashboard overview for specific:

  • Studies
  • Countries
  • Functional Lines
  • Business Processes
  • Sponsors
  • Partners
  • Business Units
  • Program Codes

Only one filter can be applied at a time.

How to Filter the Quality Dashboard View

  1. From the Quality Dashboard, use the ‘Filter By’ drop-down list to select the attribute to filter.
  2. Use the Values drop-down list to select the values to filter by. You can select multiple values to filter by.
  3. Click the filter button to apply the filter to the Quality Dashboard view.
  4. The filtered Quality Dashboard view is displayed.

Historical Tab

On the Historical view of the Quality Dashboard, eTMF calculates the following metrics with your current filter set applied:

  • TMF Completeness – calculated as of the last day of the month
  • TMF Document Quality – calculated as of the first day of the month to the last day of the month
  • TMF Document Timeliness – calculated as of first day of the month to the last day of the month.
